APG 2019 Professional Management Conference, September 19-21, Salt Lake City

The Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) will hold its 2019 Professional Management Conference (PMC) on September 19th-21st at the Hotel RL (formerly the Red Lion) in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The PMC offers three full days of presentations designed specifically for genealogical professionals. Conference keynotes will be provided by Elizabeth Shown Mills, CG®, CGL℠, FASG; Kory L. Meyerink, AG; and NJ-APG Chapter member Judy G. Russell, JD, CG®, CGL℠.

Conference lectures include a wide array of genealogical topics, skill-building and other in-depth discussions essential to the professional genealogist. NJ-APG member Melissa Johnson, CG®, will be presenting several talks including: Productivity Hacks for Professional Genealogists, Can I Really Make Money as a Professional Genealogist?, and Proof Discussions: Strategies for Success.

In addition to her keynote, Judy Russell will also facilitate a round-table discussion on Certification: The Line Between Pass and Fail.
